The information loaded in this software is a basic listing of information so a Home Improvement contractor can be found. It lacks a lot of information, how a company can be found, how to contact the company and details of what a company does. The enteries located here can not be edited instead a new entry can be created and then will be approved or disaproved by the webmaster. If you are logged in when you create the listing then you can come back and add and delete information over time as things change. This site is set up to be a comprehensive list of Home improvement contractors in the state of Connecticut. With the ever-increasing use of the Internet in some ways it can be even harder to find a contractor. This is due to fewer people using the yellow pages and the fact that only about 30% of contractors have a web site. As a contractor I have found that this alone give me a substantial competitive edge with Internet focused customers. For the homeowner that wants to be able to find a contactor to work on your home this is a source of names and address to look into. Many times people say it is impossible to find some one to come and work on the house do a good job follow it to completion and move on to the next job leaving the house neat and well taken care of. This site is meant to be a resource for finding contractors and with time will add detailed information on these contractors. This site contains the names of contractors that work in the state of Connecticut. They are not fully categorized as to what they do. This will be developed over time and links to the ones that have a website will tell you more about them. As the data grows so will the ability to find just what you want. We fell that this is one of the few comprehensive searchable lists of Connecticut contractors. For homeowners there is a section on how to select a contractor and links to other homeowner related information. Also for the contractor are some marketing ideas and resources to develop a greater web presence |

For the contractors it is a way to be on the internet there fore be found. It is a well known fact that around 60% of active contractors do not have a website so they will not show up very readily if a home owner searches on the Internet for this 60%. With the increase in Internet searches to find information this site is a way for many contractors to gain exposure and most have a mapped location. The homeowner can see were the company is located. Soon there will be a map showing how many contractors there really are near by a potential customers location. |
